Your next plan is already happening.
Runs, badminton, coffee, photo walks — see what people near you are actually doing, ask to join the Crew, and go.
Spend less time scrolling. Spend more time doing.
Happening around you.
Happening is the tab you open when you want to do something. For You, Nearby, Today, Weekend — and a map. How Happening works

Four steps. The third one happens offline.

01
Find an Activity
See what’s Happening around you, today or this weekend.
-
02
Join the Crew
Ask to join. The Host accepts you, and the exact meeting point and Crew chat open.
-
03
Show up
Meet the Crew and check in with the Host’s code when you arrive.
-
04
Keep going
Review the people you met, share Moments, earn Recognition — then find the next thing.
Trust starts with showing up.
At the meeting point the Host shows a six-character code. Each person in the Crew enters it once. That check-in is the record that they came — and everything afterwards is built on it.
- Reviews only between people who both came
- Moments for the people who were there
- Recognition worked out, never handed out
What it proves, and what it doesn’t. A check-in shows that someone in the Crew had the Host’s current code, during the Activity. It doesn’t verify who anyone is — Happenous runs no ID or background checks.
Meet around something real.
You don’t follow people first. You do something together first.
- Nobody messages you out of nowhereChat happens in the Crew of an Activity you were accepted to, and one-to-one with Buddies. That is all.
- You don’t have to add anyoneMeeting people, doing the thing and going home is a perfectly good evening. Happenous never makes Buddies the next step.
Less scrolling. More of this.

Do it again. Then go a little further.
Record a run, a ride or a walk. Share it with your Buddies. Set a Buddy a challenge — fastest over a distance, or furthest — and see how you compare. Optional, and never a ranking of everyone.
Have a plan? Make it an Activity.
You don’t need to run a club. Say what you’re doing, when and where, and who can join. Then decide who comes — nobody joins without your yes.

What are you doing?
Built for meeting people you don’t know yet.
Not a promise that nothing goes wrong — a set of defaults that run through hosting, joining, meeting and afterwards.
-
Your location stays yours
Until the Host accepts you, an Activity shows only an area about 3 km across. Nobody ever sees your live position.
-
The exact point is for the Crew
Only the Host and the people they accept see the meeting point. Leave the Crew and it’s hidden again.
-
Block and report from anywhere
A block works both ways. Reports are read by people, and every action is recorded with a reason.
-
Your number stays yours
Nobody sees your phone number or email. And Happenous is not an emergency service — if you’re in danger, call 112.
The internet has enough watching. Let’s go do something.
Questions people ask first.
Is Happenous free?
Yes. There is nothing to pay for in the app. If an Activity has a cost — a court booking, a ticket, a studio fee — the Host lists it before anyone asks to join, and it’s settled between the Host and the Crew. Happenous doesn’t handle the money.
Who can see where I’ll be?
Until a Host accepts you, an Activity shows only an approximate area, about 3 km across. The exact meeting point goes to the Host and the accepted Crew, nobody else, and it disappears again if you leave. Happenous never shows anyone your live position.
Can strangers message me?
No. Chat happens in two places only: the Crew chat for an Activity you’ve been accepted to, and one-to-one chats with Buddies. A Buddy is someone who asked to connect and was accepted — there is no one-way follow.
Do I have to compete?
No. Track is optional. Someone who never records a ride or sets a challenge still gets the whole of Happenous. The only boards are the people in one challenge — never a ranking of everyone.
Who can use it?
Anyone 18 or over. Happenous asks for your date of birth the first time you ask to join or host an Activity, and won’t continue for anyone younger.
Which cities is it in?
You can choose from twenty Indian cities when you sign up — Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Pondicherry, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Coimbatore, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Indore, Goa, Surat, Nagpur, Bhubaneswar and Guwahati. What’s on in each depends on who’s hosting.
Is there a web version?
No. Happenous is an app for Android and iPhone — check-in happens on a phone, at the meeting point. This website is where you find it.
Something’s happening near you this week.
Happenous is free, for anyone 18 or over. Find something to do, or host it yourself.
